Car accident near Moshav Galia, March 28, 2024/MDA
A 30-year-old woman was killed tonight (Thursday) after her vehicle collided with a pole on Highway 410 near Moshav Galia between the cities of Yavne and Rehovot. MDA medics and paramedics pronounced her dead and evacuated a 30-year-old man to the Kaplan Medical Center in Rehovot in serious condition with multiple systemic injuries.
Paramedics Shmulik Boanish and Ran Golan said after arriving at the scene: "This is a very serious car accident. The vehicle that was badly damaged was standing in the middle of the road with the two injured people trapped inside. The woman was unconscious, without a pulse and without breathing, we performed medical tests during the rescue operations, but her injury was fatal and we had no choice but to determine her death in the field. The man who was sitting in the seat next to her was rescued suffering from a severe multi-system injury and was taken to the hospital in an MDA intensive care vehicle in serious condition."

In another accident that took place tonight, two women were injured after their vehicle slid into a ditch at a whistle interchange, at the junction of roads 3 and 7. MDA medics and paramedics evacuated a 65-year-old seriously and unsteadily injured woman, and a 39-year-old woman in a moderate condition, to the Kaplan Medical Center in Rehovot.
Paramedics Gal Ganish, Baruch Avitan and Yoel Kahn said: "The two injured women were conscious and trapped in a vehicle in a ditch on the side of the road suffering from multiple systemic injuries. We immediately started medical treatment during rescue operations and evacuated them to the hospital, with one of them in a serious and unstable condition and the other in moderate condition."
