From slightly mossy to light blue bathing pleasure: With spring cleaning and the advance sale of season tickets, Landsberg municipal utilities are preparing for the start of the season in the Inselbad.
Landsberg - It is not yet clear who will be the first to plunge into the clear waters of the Landsberg island pool on May 1st. However, it is tradition that the Landsberg bathing season begins on this day. Spring cleaning began at the beginning of March: Equipped with high-pressure cleaners, the team removed the remains of leaves and dirt that had collected in the pool over the winter. The tiles could then be checked for necessary repairs.
Start of the season in the Inselbad Landsberg: technology is being modernized
To ensure that everything is safe, the municipal company has also modernized the bathroom technology. In addition, preparations are being made for the renovation of the technology in the basement, which is planned for September. “To do this, some of the hedges had to be removed, holes to check the groundwater level were drilled and then closed again,” said press spokeswoman Kathrin Weber. To ensure the heat supply during the renovation period, a connection option for a mobile heating center is currently being created in the parking lot in front of the island pool.
“We are making great progress with the preparations and the anticipation for the outdoor pool season is increasing,” says Reinhard Dippold, head of the municipal services and building management department. He recommends that bathers who already know that they want a season ticket should pre-order it now. Swimming enthusiasts can do this on the Stadtwerke Landsberg website or directly at the Inselbad cash desk. “Applications often pile up at the beginning of the season, which can lead to waiting times,” points out Dippold. “By ordering early before the start of the season, our guests can be sure that they will have their season ticket in hand when the outdoor pool starts.”
Season tickets for the Landsberger Inselbad: simply extend them
Each season ticket is personalized and shows a photo of the holder. For a new season ticket, images can be uploaded online in JPEG format when ordering. As soon as the season ticket is ready, customers will receive a notification and can pick up their ticket at the Inselbad cash desk. Payment is possible by EC card or in cash. If you cannot place your order online, you can buy a season ticket at the cash desk in the Inselbad. In this case, photos are taken on site and the maps are created directly.
Guests who already had a season ticket last year can have it reactivated for the 2024 season at the checkout. Customers who purchased a season ticket in 2023 but lost it can apply for a replacement ticket without submitting a new photo. Opening hours are Wednesdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Thursdays from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m.
