Good news for film fans in Kochel: The cinema in the Heimatbühne is back in operation. According to the association, the fire protection issues have been clarified.

Kochel - The municipality of Kochel had closed its home stage to major events as a precautionary measure due to deficiencies in fire protection. The restaurants and cinema were also affected at the time. The cinema association had to be patient regarding further operations - which hurt because the response had become positive again after the adversities of the last few years.

In the meantime, however, the cinema in the home theater has been allowed to go back into operation. Pia Schäfer from the cinema association in Kochel was pleased to announce this.

The open questions about fire protection in the cinema between the municipality and the district office have been clarified, said Schäfer. Kochel's mayor Jens Müller (UWK) gave the go-ahead for operations to resume.
