IDF spokesman Brigadier General Daniel Hagari announced this evening at a press conference that the IDF killed Raad Thabat, the head of the supply and personnel corps of the Hamas military wing, in an operation in Shifaa. According to him, Tabat "was in the top ten, close to Sinvar, Daf and Issa".
Hagari added in the update that 1,250 people were staying at Shifa Hospital, including 900 suspects. "We have identified 513 terrorists out of them, we estimate that there are more senior officials and more terrorists," said the spokesman. Hagari also said that "Hamas is destroying the hospital and destroying it. The hospital was badly damaged as a result of Hamas' actions."
In response to the question of whether the IDF is prepared for mass recruitment of ultra-Orthodox, Hagari said: "The IDF is the people's army, it calls for the recruitment of all. We in the IDF will act according to the law."

He referred to the suffering of the residents of the north in the past six months and assured that the IDF is doing everything so that the residents can return to their homes.
Hagari also referred to the collection of forensic materials intended to expose the war crimes of Hamas, including the documentation of the interrogation of the terrorist who confessed to raping a young woman.
