A new post office has been put into operation in the community of Egling. According to Post, the machine is accessible 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Egling – There is now an additional contact point for postal and parcel services in Egling: Deutsche Post and DHL have put a postal station into operation at Gewerbering 20 (near Netto-Markt). Company spokesman Dieter Nawrath announced this on Wednesday.
New post office in operation: machine is accessible around the clock
According to the press release, the machine is accessible 24 hours a day, seven days a week. It offers almost all of the services that customers most often ask for in branches. It is possible to purchase postage and parcel stamps as well as send letters and parcels. Nawrath: “DHL parcels can also be received at post station 701 with 45 parcel compartments. As with the Packstation, this service requires a one-time registration.
Postage and parcel stamps can be paid for cashless
“The Poststation is an offer to our customers to use postal services in the most convenient way possible for them at additional locations,” said the press spokesman. The new post office on Gewerbering has a touchscreen and, according to Nawrath, can be operated intuitively. The machines have an integrated mailbox and parcel compartments. Postage and parcel stamps can be purchased cashless at the post offices using all common EC cards, Visa and Master Cards as well as Google Pay and Apple Pay.
There are no additional costs associated with using the post office at the Netto market in Egling. (cce)
