A 19-year-old is said to have killed three relatives with a knife. Now new details are becoming known. The police have already settled a dispute with the family.
Hohentengen - After the knife attack with three deaths in Hohentengen on the High Rhine, new details have become known. The police and public prosecutor's office announced on Thursday in Waldshut-Tiengen that the day before the violent act near the border with Switzerland, the police were at the family's house to settle a dispute.
The 19-year-old suspect is reportedly in custody. When the arrest warrant was opened, the young man with German and Italian citizenship testified. No details were provided.
“The accused has not yet been convicted,” the statement said. There are no indications that drugs were involved.
The suspect is accused of attacking and killing his parents and his 34-year-old brother with a knife on Tuesday evening in the community in the Waldshut district in the far south of the country. The suspect's sister suffered serious injuries in the attack but survived. dpa
