The news was confirmed after a series of raids carried out by the Rosario Operational Unit Division, of the Federal Police, and the Federal Forces that are acting in Rosario. A gang that was virtually dismantled, after the
eight arrests
made that are linked to the Di María case and drug dealing.
For a year now, federal prosecutor Arzubi Calvo has been working with federal forces on a gang led by León, which sold drugs through drug dealing in the town of Pérez.
Several wiretaps over the last year determined that this branch of Los Monos could be linked to the threats received by Di María's family, in front of the Country Funes Hills Miraflores, where they reside.
Following the suspicion, a discreet operation was launched around the home occupied by Acotto. And after hours of surveillance and given the imminent danger of escape, the subject and his partner were arrested. At that time, a bag with 150 doses of cocaine was also seized.
They arrested Acotto, responsible and suspected of making the threats and intimidating shots against Ángel Di María's family.
There, a series of raids were decided simultaneously in both the city of Rosario and the town of Pérez. And the eight arrests could be made; among them, that of the man in charge of carrying out the threat, Acotto; and that of the mastermind of the fact, León.
"Pablo Acotto, who was being investigated for drug trafficking, confessed, in wiretaps, to being the author, and Sara Belén Gutiérrez and Gabriel Ismael Pastore, accomplices, were arrested by the PFA and the Santa Fe Police through PDI, when they were planning to escape. from his home," confirmed Patricia Bullrich, Minister of Security.
Earlier, the authorities had found the gray Renault Megane from which the threat was made against the soccer player and his family, in the gated community located on the outskirts of Rosario.
In the raids carried out, the following were also arrested: Selene Romero, Belén Ledesma, Janina León, Luciano Naidenoff, Brian Roja, Walter Altamirano, Alejandro Fernandez and Miguel Aguirre, all of legal age and members of the drug gang.

According to sources linked to the investigation, Tamara Alejandra León, 26, was in charge of hiring Acotto to threaten the family of the former Rosario Central soccer player.
