Munich - On the evening of March 26, 2024, around 7:30 p.m., two witnesses were able to observe a puppy sale from the trunk of a van with a Czech registration in a residential area. They then immediately informed the police via the emergency number 110.

The initial investigation revealed violations of the Animal Welfare Act, which were reported. It is still unclear whether the vaccination certificates presented are real or possibly fake. This is currently still the subject of police investigations. The 46-year-old had to deposit a four-figure security deposit on site. The puppies were then handed over to a veterinary clinic. After the police measures were completed, the 46-year-old was released by the police station. The Munich police took over the further investigation.
