Munich - On the evening of March 26, 2024, around 7:30 p.m., two witnesses were able to observe a puppy sale from the trunk of a van with a Czech registration in a residential area. They then immediately informed the police via the emergency number 110.

A police patrol from Inspectorate 24 in Perlach was able to locate the van described and subject it to an inspection. Inside the vehicle were seven puppies that were housed in transport boxes. The seller, a 46-year-old man with Czech nationality, had no permanent residence in Germany.

After the police measures were completed, the 46-year-old was released by the police station. The Munich police took over the further investigation.
