Increased consumption of cassia cinnamon can lead to, among other things, headaches, vomiting or a racing heart. Cassia cinnamon can also have negative effects on the liver. The Federal Institute for Risk Assessment therefore advises not to consume cassia cinnamon over a long period of time. Adults should not consume more than two grams per day.
