A booster shot. During his televised speech, Prime Minister Gabriel Attal spoke of
“
work accidents
”
which kill
“two”
workers per day in France.
“We have too many accidents at work, too many French people dying at work
,” declared the head of government.
“We must better prevent workplace accidents and improve the working conditions of the French, particularly those who have the most difficult jobs
,” he then added, announcing the launch of a
“major initiative”
to
“ improve the quality of life at work
.
This is not the first time that public authorities have been concerned about the high level of work accidents (WAT) in France. In September, the Minister of Labor Olivier Dussopt launched a campaign to prevent serious and fatal workplace accidents, with the ambition of causing an
“electroshock”
in society.
