The rise in violence at universities is nothing new, but it has gotten significantly worse in recent years and even more so since October 7. It must be said that the university has for a long time already tolerated the arrival of personalities, during conferences which are in reality meetings, who distill an uninhibited Islamo-leftist discourse, excite feelings of hatred against France and call for a opposition that is muscular, even revolutionary, to say the least, against the institutions - and in particular the police. Should we recall, for example, that the University of Bordeaux hosted a conference by the co-founder of Action Directe, Jean-Marc Rouillan, on March 28, 2023? That Maryam Abu Daqqa, representative of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP - terrorist organization), went on October 5, 2023 to Lyon-2 University to participate, from the room, in a conference on "the Israeli apartheid”? That Louis Boyard traveled to numerous faculties to promote LFI?

It becomes almost impossible to carry the contradiction. Students can only drink from one source: that of dominant thought, soaked in a victim discourse with totalitarian overtones since the contradictor, who necessarily belongs to the camp of the “oppressors”, must remain silent. If he speaks, he could cause suffering to his interlocutor.

Many speakers, who do not belong to the doxa, have seen their conferences canceled or postponed

indefinitely

. Very recently, on March 28 at the University of Grenoble, a further step was taken: because it was organized by the UNI, a conference by lawyer Fabien Rajon was disrupted by extreme activists. LEFT. After attempting to block access to the lecture hall, they broke down a door to gain entry and gassed and beat students present. A complaint has been filed.

By submitting to the dictates of single-mindedness, universities have allowed the establishment of an inflammable climate.

Collective forum

We have seen the proliferation of workshops prohibited to men or whites in universities. How can we be surprised, in these circumstances, that a Science Po amphitheater is closed to Jews? Unfortunately, the “victims”, convinced of belonging to the camp of good, allow themselves all excesses. Those who will be hurt by the slightest criticism are the same ones who will legitimize violence to silence the contradiction. They tear up at the first dissonant word but punch their opponent in the face.

At the UNI, we note that incidents are increasing: in Nanterre, our activists were attacked during tracting. From now on, they are systematically accompanied by members of university security. An activist from Bordeaux was beaten up by several antifas. On the sidelines of Jean-Luc Mélenchon's visit to Clermont-Ferrand, very recently, our activists were also attacked. We could multiply the examples. Not to mention the constant insults (“racist”, “Islamophobic”...) and the tags of the names of some of our activists and leaders on the walls of universities (even recently, on the Nantes BU). Even more worrying: one of us received several death threats via social networks, their authors designating him by name and indicating the days on which he is present at his university. These facts gave rise to a complaint, just like most of the physical attacks of which we are victims.

At the same time, in universities, Jewish students are at best sidelined, at worst harassed. The release of anti-Semitic speech is extremely serious. It shows that all the limits have been crossed. By submitting to the dictates of single-mindedness, universities have allowed the establishment of an inflammable climate. The smoldering fire broke out on October 7.
