This behemoth - 85,000 agents, including 65,000 teachers, and nearly a million students, making it the second academy in terms of staff after that of Versailles - does not have a sufficient stock of replacements to compensate for the all absences in Seine-Saint-Denis, Val-de-Marne and Seine-et-Marne.
The organization, for several years, of an additional external competition for the recruitment of school teachers, which complements the classic session taking place in each academy, does not meet all the needs here. Also, and even if the profession always attracts, working in the Créteil academy puts off more than one candidate, for different reasons.
