Getting married at 60? In an interview, he has now revealed whether this could happen to “Dream Ship” star Daniel Morgenroth after decades of a wild marriage. The actor is waiting for a final impulse.
Berlin – “Dream Ship” actor Daniel Morgenroth (60) has been in a relationship with his girlfriend Johanna Klante (48) for 23 years. They never got married, despite having two children. And it is precisely because of the two of them that Morgenroth and his girlfriend are now talking more about the topic again.

The Berliner and the Munich woman once met on a film shoot, and an affair turned into love. However, Morgenroth and his girlfriend Johanna, the daughter of the Bavarian director Dieter Klante (“Hanna’s Baby”), did not yet dare to take the final step. . “We have all the papers together, but then something always comes up and the wedding plan gets pushed back,” says Morgenroth.
Because their two daughters, Lovisa (17) and Finja (15), are now slowly growing up, their parents are noticing new freedom and thus opportunities to rediscover themselves as a couple. The family lives together in a country house in Brandenburg. Because the daughters had recently moved out for a rehearsal - to visit their grandparents at Lake Starnberg and to visit friends in Berlin - the actor couple got an idea of what it was like to meet again as just a couple. They used this not only privately, but also professionally.

Together they toured Germany with a play. For both of them, who describe themselves as “nomads at heart”, it has been a long-time dream and fun that gave them a taste for it. “Daniel and I want to travel more in the future, tackle more projects together and take up more time for ourselves,” Johanna Klante told

As a mother, her children's departure would not leave her unaffected. On the other hand, there are tears in her eyes and she is happy about the exciting future of her daughters, who also want to gain experience abroad.

Daniel Morgenroth can also understand this wish very well. He himself went traveling alone at the age of 16, on a bicycle. Because his mother didn't stop him, he wanted to give his daughters this opportunity too. Freedom is a basic principle in the family. The school holiday plans took away the couple's spontaneity, which they are now using again. The couple does not reveal when and where a wedding is possible. At the moment there is new filming going on for the ZDF series “Traumschiff”. Daniel Morgenroth has been part of the permanent crew as staff captain Martin Grimm since 2019.

Morgenroth will be seen on ZDF in the Easter episode that takes the “Dream Ship” team to Thailand. In this “Dream Ship” episode, ZDF breaks its rules with an appearance by Florian Silbereisen.
