At 'Schlag den Star' the comedians Kaya Yanar and Paul Panzer meet each other. An exciting duel with 100,000 euros in prize money is imminent.
“Beat the Star” – that is the motto next Saturday. Kaya Yanar and Paul Panzer, two well-known comedians, compete against each other on the popular ProSieben show. Yanar and Panzer, the stage characters of the stand-up comedian Dieter Tappert, will be seen live on ProSieben in the game show from 8:15 p.m. A humorous encounter should be guaranteed.

They compete in 15 rounds, but only one can take home the prize money of 100,000 euros. The competitive spirit has already been ignited, as a press release from ProSieben shows. Yanar teases: “Is the theme on Saturday 80s, or can Paul change into something decent?” Paul Panzer then counters: “What are you looking at?! Google style, boy!”

Yanar and Panzer are no strangers to each other. Yanar gained fame in the early 2000s through his Sat.1 comedy show “What are you watching?!”. Paul Panzer, alias Dieter Tappert, first became known through prank calls on the radio and was seen alongside Mario Barth, 51, in the movie “Männersache”. Yanar and Panzer have appeared in front of the camera together several times, including on the RTL program “Stars at Work” for almost two years.
How did Kaya Yanar become famous?
Kaya Yanar rose to fame through his television show “What are you looking at?!” It became a huge success and established him as a renowned comedian in Germany. His distinctive style and humorous charisma captivated a diverse audience. Yanar's talent for imitating different characters and dialects was particularly appreciated. “What are you looking at?!” developed into a cult phenomenon and catapulted Yanar into the Olympus of the German comedy scene.

Who is behind Paul Panzer?
Dieter Tappert, a German comedian and entertainer, is better known by his fictional character Paul Panzer. He gained fame through countless stage programs and television appearances. His trademark? Bizarre everyday stories that he tells with a lot of humor. Panzer often uses a shrill voice and an unconventional demeanor to bring his characters to life. With the program “Heimatabend Deluxe” he achieved his breakthrough and gained a large fan base. Panzer is known for his eccentric performances and his talent for making audiences laugh.
The show, a Brainpool TV production, will be hosted by Elton, 52, as usual. Ron Ringguth, 58, provides the comments. “Schlag den Star” can be followed on ProSieben and via the streaming service Joyn.
