A 44-year-old Geretsrieder sexually harassed a sleeping woman (57) at Munich Central Station. A federal police patrol and the railway security service intervened.
Munich/Geretsried - A 44-year-old from Geretsried is being investigated for sexual harassment. As the federal police report, the man took advantage of the helpless situation of a sleeping woman at Munich Central Station on Wednesday night to touch her inappropriately. A Deutsche Bahn security patrol noticed the incident and intervened.

At around 2:15 a.m., the security service on the central platform of the main train station observed that the 44-year-old repeatedly tried to get closer to the 57-year-old on a bench. “He kissed her and touched her inappropriately,” said the federal police. Since the woman tried in vain to keep the intrusive man at a distance, the DB security service intervened and called a federal police patrol, which was nearby, to help.
Geretsrieder is being investigated for sexual harassment
The 44-year-old Afghan and the Ukrainian were taken to the federal police station to clarify the crime. The woman, who lives in Munich, filed a criminal complaint against the Geretsrieder. The analysis of the camera recordings showed that the 44-year-old sat down next to the sleeping woman and then kissed and touched her. The 57-year-old did not initially resist, but then came to and tried to fight the man off.
The Afghan was heavily intoxicated at the time of the crime. An investigation into sexual harassment was initiated against him. (cce)
