Lecture with fundraising from the cultural group and support association
Schönbrunn - The fact that it is important to protect women and children from domestic violence is entirely in the spirit of the Röhrmoos cultural group and the Hofmarkkirche Schönbrunn support association. These associations supported the lecture by the district home nurse Dr. Birgitta Unger-Richter on the topic “Victoria von Butler – a woman way ahead of her time”. Victoria von Butler, the founder of Schönbrunn, grew up during the Biedermeier era and campaigned for the rights and social protection of women and girls throughout her life.
The event visitors were in the mood to donate, so that the cultural group chairman Michael Wockenfuß was able to hand over the donation amount of 320 euros as well as cake and cake donations from the Hofmarkkirche Schönbrunn Friends' Association. Nicola Kaufmann from the AWO women's shelter in Dachau was thrilled.
Kaufmann explained that in the Awo women's shelter in Dachau, women and children have received protection, accommodation and support in the event of domestic violence since 1998. Kaufmann also promoted civic engagement in this facility, as many services are only possible with volunteers. east
