After the very turbulent weather on Thursday linked to strong gales in the North-West, the conditions for this Friday are expected

Unsettled conditions as the Easter weekend approaches. This Friday promises to be still rough with a strong wind which will particularly affect the South-East and Center-East of the country, with the Loire and the Rhône being placed on orange alert for this phenomenon, according to Météo France.

In the morning,

the sky will be gray over most of France with rain between Aquitaine, Limousin, Berry, Burgundy and the Grand-Est. Despite a hazy sky, the sun will be present in the south-east of the country between Nice and Perpignan, as well as in Corsica, with temperatures around 20°C. Note strong gusts of wind in the Center-East as well as in Brittany and Normandy.

In the afternoon,

conditions will remain more or less similar with deteriorating weather from the South-West to the North-East accompanied by stormy rain and strong gusts of wind in the north-west quarter and the south-east quarter of the country. An improvement to note between Lyon and Nice with the appearance of clearings. From the Belgian border towards the Paris region, Brittany and Poitou-Charentes, cloudy periods will alternate with timid clearings and a few showers.

The south to southeast wind will reach 60 to 80 km/h along the Mediterranean and in the Autan area. It will blow even harder from the Cévennes to the Rhône valley with gusts of 80/90 km/h, up to 100/110 km/h in the Lyon and Saint-Etienne regions placed on Orange Wind alert.

Minimum temperatures will range from 11 to 14 degrees generally from north to south and maximums will reach 16 degrees in the northern half, and up to 24 degrees in the Roussillon plain and Corsica.

In the evening and next night,

the wind calms down in the North-West but reaches somewhat into the center of the country with gusts of up to 65 km/h around Bourges and Limoges in the evening. The night will be calmer and drier, especially in the eastern part of the country with some rain in the north of the country.

In Île-de-France,

the weather will remain overcast all day and evening, with rain expected during the night. Temperatures are around 10°C in the morning and 15°C in the afternoon, without the wind disturbing the conditions like on Thursday.
