InspectThe Conso Rappel site has just launched a new recall campaign, this time for fruit yogurts from the Yoplait brand. Indeed, the site which lists all the recalls of finished products intended for consumers points to
“consumer feedback on an organoleptic defect (spicy taste) and a deformation of the packaging (swollen lid) due to spoilage flora »
. The smell and taste of the yogurts are altered.
Specifically, the first recall concerns Yoplait 0% baskets sold in batches of 6, 8 or 16 pots. Flavors at risk are red fruits, yellow fruits, and variegated fruits. Yoplait Baskets with fruit pieces are also the subject of this recall. It includes the flavors mango/pineapple, peach/pear, cherry, exotic fruits, red fruits and yellow fruits, in the same formats as the light version also recalled. Finally, a third sheet was issued for the Tentation Pâtissière 0% range. These sets of 4 pots are available in the following flavors: tart-style apricot, tart-style lemon, wafer-style raspberry and tatin-style apple. They were offered by several purchasing centers.
“No health risk”
The milk products were marketed between February 29 and March 28 throughout France by eight distributors: Groupe AMC, Auchan, Carrefour, Groupe Even, Métro, Intermarché, Leclerc and Système U. The government website advises “no
longer consuming »
and
“destroy”
these yogurts.
On the other hand, there is no need to worry if you have consumed these Yoplait brand yogurts. The spoilage flora present in the products does not present
“no health risk”
, but simply deteriorates
“the quality of the product and the packaging”
. A telephone number is made available to consumers until April 11: 0.800.022.121. Compensation in the form of a reduction voucher on the lots affected by the recall is planned.
