Gender equality was one of the cornerstones of her program, with a desire to integrate women into all town hall services. The number of female employees within the municipality increased by 36% and that of female managers increased by 148%. In this capacity, I am the first deputy secretary general of the town hall, which also welcomed the first female rescuers and sailors.
Another new initiative: the creation of the first shelter for women victims of violence, accompanied by a multilingual “hotline” making it possible to receive distress calls.
