Colonel Alon Kudryashov, 21 years old from Modi'in was killed yesterday (Friday) in a battle in the southern Gaza Strip. He fought in the Agoz unit, the Komedano formation and left behind his parents, Sergey and Kira and his sister Karen. The family says that his sister chose the name for him when he was born: "I chose Alon" The firstborn says, "Because it is the strongest and strongest tree" - and his name was Alon, a strong boy, tall and handsome with a gentle soul, full of kindness and goodness, loving people and sensitive to his surroundings and always saw the good in everything.
The family was waiting for a son. Relatives of the family say Because he had great strength along with sensitivity and a deep connection to his mother and the family unit. Alon and Kira were the closest and made sure to talk whenever possible and to strengthen each other in the belief that everything would be fine. As a child and a teenager, Alon was full of purpose and excelled in every field he engaged in, whether it was in karate, when he reached the rank of A black belt, whether it's in diving that he loved so much or in any field of extreme sports that he loved to do. Alon was a quiet and introverted boy but knew how to make his friends laugh when needed. He had the qualities of a leader, whose very presence calmed and empowered those present. Alon planned after the release to take Mochila and travel with the team in Thailand and then in South America. The dream was to settle down in a quiet place and start a family, live next to his sister and raise their children together.

Mayor of Modi'in-Maccabim-Reot Haim Bibbs wrote in a post on Facebook: "The bereaved family of Modi'in Maccabim Reot is expanding. Just before Shabbat, we were informed of the fall of Major Alon Kudriashov, a fighter in the Egoz unit of the commando formation. Alon, a graduate of Urban High School 1, was killed today in fighting in the Gaza Strip.
