Most had already planned to go to Republic Square and the demonstration to demand a ceasefire in Gaza this Saturday afternoon. But before joining the Parisian procession, members of the Hauts-de-Seine local committee of the France-Palestine association expressed, in their own way, their unwavering support for the Palestinian people, in Gennevilliers where 14,000 small Palestinian flags were planted opposite the Galilée high school.

For this initiative, neither the date nor the location were chosen by chance. The date first: “For Palestinians, March 30 has been, since 1976, a day of struggle and resistance against colonization and the dispossession of their property and land,” explains Sandrine, secretary of the local committee of the association. We are therefore taking advantage of this very special day to demand an immediate ceasefire and the opening of negotiations for a two-state solution. »
