Véronique and Laurent Blond, a couple of bakers from Beaumont-de-Lomagne (Tarn-et-Garonne), disappeared on March 16 in Madeira, Portugal. A stay supposed to last from March 12 to 21. But the trip was cut short. Having gone for a “
romantic
” stroll
after the meal, the couple did not return and have remained missing ever since.
Two investigations were opened, one for “
disturbing disappearance
” by the Montauban public prosecutor’s office, a second by the Portuguese authorities. Their daughter, Johanna, with whom they were when they disappeared, testifies to her great anxiety to Le
Figaro,
aware that as the days pass, the chances of finding them alive are diminishing.
