In 2021, Renata and Valentin Lusin were in the “Let's Dance” final together – a “magic moment” for them. At the same time, they were now direct competitors - and Renata definitely wanted to win.

Cologne – Valentin Lusin (37) and his wife Renata (36) recently became parents for the first time. Daughter Stella is the reason why Renata is not in the “Let's Dance” professional squad this season and why Valentin had to take a break in the meantime. However, on Friday evening (March 29th) the couple can be seen together in front of the camera in the special episode “Let's Dance - The Magic Moments of the Professionals” - and they talk about past moments in the RTL show. Renata then reveals why she didn't really want to begrudge her husband victory in a season.

The Lusin couple about their joint “Let’s Dance” finale

In “Let's Dance – The Magic Moments of the Professionals” the focus is, for once, not on the celebrities, but on the professional dancers. RTL shows them their special “Let’s Dance” moments and allows them to comment on them. Among the invited guests are the new parents Renata and Valentin Lusin.

There Renata speaks in detail about her journey together with Rúrik Gíslason (36) - with whom she ultimately won “Let's Dance” in 2021. But in the final she had to be afraid because the other finalist was her husband Valentin and his partner Valentina Pahde (29). And the 36-year-old openly admits: "I don't say that word, I wouldn't have granted Valentin the victory, I would have concentrated on us and I would have granted Rúrik and myself the victory."

“And not me”: Renata didn’t begrudge her husband Valentin’s “Let’s Dance” victory

Valentin is amused by his wife's statement and interjects: "And not to me." The new mom doesn't comment on that. The 36-year-old only has an honest laugh at the objection - but Valentin can agree with the laughter. The professional dancer doesn't really seem to resent his wife's ambition. The couple also says that they are very proud to have been in the “Let's Dance” final together.
