In the barn, a place of confession of the past, Sandrine Quétier remembers having been an
“extremely worried child”

“I imagined that if I did things well, that was the only way to be loved. I felt disappointing and uninteresting and full of emptiness
,” she describes. It's paradoxical that with this fragility, she dares to go through a casting call to present the Keno draw live twice a week. The opportunities keep coming from there.
A risky choice
After seven years at M6, Sandrine Quétier joined the first channel. “50 minutes inside” with Nikos Aliagas, “Dancing with the stars”... She is at the peak of her career.
“Television was my job, never a passion,”
she explains to her weekend companions before adding:
“A very pleasant and friendly way to earn a living
. ”

In reference to her childhood recounted earlier in the show, she analyzes that it is also

“It was my job, but it was never my life
,” she concludes. This is why she is trying her luck in the fiction division of TF1. She passes tests, is selected for roles, but her management vetoes her. She doesn't want a host who is also identified as an actress. Sandrine Quétier resigns.
“No other option to stop everything
,” she explains.
“I wasn't afraid. At worst, if it doesn’t work, I’ll find something else
,” she adds.
A risky choice that she does not regret since she first played in “A Murder in” on France Télévisions, followed by other fictions, plays and a solo album for 2024.
“It’ It's great at my age to have to prove yourself. I no longer dream about my life, I really do what I want to do
,” declares Sandrine Quétier, happy today on France 2.
