Insults, spitting and spent cigarette butts on him: according to what Simone, 23 years old, reported to Radio Pride, it would have happened in Scampia, on the outskirts of Naples, last Friday, because he is gay. "I'm angry. I'm reporting them. I had just left Conad - the victim said on the radio - to buy an Easter egg. Two boys riding a scooter approached me. I lived 20 minutes of pure terror. They called me ' richò' then the spitting and the extinguished cigarette butts started."
Then, after twenty minutes, Simone started filming them with his cell phone: "I told them that I would film them, so they would get into serious trouble with the law. I am ready to report them. I no longer accept this state of affairs". It is not the first time that the young 23-year-old has been attacked just because he is gay, claims Arcigay Napoli. "However, until now, I had been the victim of mere verbal insults. This time it was something very different. But I don't want to hide, I'm reporting them", announces Simone.
The complaint will also be filed thanks to the support immediately granted to him by the Arcigay Napoli association: "Our lawyer is at your complete disposal - said the president Antonello Sannino - we need to fight these thugs. This was yet another vile episode with a homophobic background, among other things, very violent, because there is talk of extinguished cigarettes and spitting. We will do everything we can to obtain justice."
