A 44-year-old man from the Kassel region tried to land his single-engine Cessna at Ampfing airfield. During the landing process, the small aircraft was blown off the runway by a crosswind, hit a neighboring fence and finally came to a stop about 120 meters away. The pilot and his 36-year-old companion were able to leave the plane independently. Both sustained minor facial injuries and were taken to Mühldorf Hospital by emergency services.
