More than two weeks have passed since the 47-year-old Hagit, a mother of two girls, underwent a routine operation at Assuta Ramat Hay'il Hospital and contracted a virulent bacteria. "I accompanied her through the entire process from the first moment," said Hagit's relative, Meshi (pseudonym) Lavala in her first interview since the tragic event.
"Hagit and I were together all day. We ate and spent time in front of the sea to relax and breathe.
