The documentary directed by the Buenos Aires Minister of Health
Nicolás Kreplak -
which praises the management of the
Covid-19 pandemic
carried out by the government of the Province of Buenos Aires and has not yet been released -
has already raised controversy and
even generated a
request for reports
. The Buenos Aires senators of the PRO, Alex Campbell and Alejandro Rabinovich made a presentation before the body to inform, among other points,
who financed the film
, which they described as an
“audiovisual piece that Joseph Goebbels would be proud of.”
Minister Kreplak surprised a few days ago by publishing the trailer of the film on his X account. “Watch the trailer for
Pandemic: managing the unknown
!
On April 17, the film that portrays the management of the pandemic in PBA will be released.
Challenges, decisions, uncertainties and the constant dedication to take care of every Buenos Aires resident,” he wrote next to the trailer. The official is the best-known representative of the
Sanitary Sovereignty Foundation
, which appears as the
director
of the documentary.
Although only 1 minute 37 seconds of the film is known, the opposition is already wondering
who paid for its production
. This Monday, Senators Campbell and Rabinovich presented a request for reports to the Buenos Aires Senate to find out
who financed the film
, the details of the resources used and to know what
the relationship is between the Sanitary Sovereignty Foundation and the Buenos Aires Ministry of Health.
In his which he claimed was
“the application of the longest confinement in history.”
The provincial senator did not spare criticism against the advance of the film. He considered that it is a
“sectarian and propagandistic”
film and that it is an
“audiovisual piece of which Joseph Goebbels (NdR Adolf Hitler's Propaganda Minister) would be proud.”
Poster for the documentary "Pandemic, managing the unknown", directed by Nicolás Kreplak
“We do not live in the 1940s for the communication method to be a movie where officials talk to each other to
cover up the launch of the Kreplak and Kicillof campaign
,” he reflected, while adding that it was not the Buenos Aires residents who “They cried out for this
Nazi-style
film to be made.”
For his part, Campbell maintained that Kreplak's film about the pandemic is a “fiction” to which Kicillof's management “has him accustomed” since the governor, he said, “has been
scripting the reality
that Buenos Aires residents have been experiencing for more than 4 years".
“
I imagine they will say that we had
one of the longest lockdowns in the world
, that
they campaigned for the closure of schools
, that
there was a VIP vaccination,”
Campbell suggested about the content of the documentary.
Finally, in an ironic key, he maintained that “the only good thing” is that “they show people what
their true vocation is, acting
.”
Who finances the film that the Province of Buenos Aires has just released pretending that the management of the pandemic was successful? Who asked that @nkreplak @Kicillofok and @DrDanielGollan be interviewed to give their version of the application of the longest confinement in history?… https://t.co/VyXOXMLPS9
