This evening (Monday), the police published dramatic documentation of the neutralization of the terrorist who carried out the attack in Gan Yavne, in which the policeman who arrived at the scene is seen identifying the terrorist, firing at him and calling for help in connection. In the footage from the policeman's body camera, he is heard identifying the terrorist and exclaiming: "Who is this? Hey." As soon as the policeman recognizes that it is a terrorist, he chases and shoots and neutralizes him. He calls out in connection: "An attack, a terrorist neutralized, I'm coming back from a terrorist neutralized, I have a wounded person. MDA is quick to the scene."



After watching the security cameras and the body, the commander of the southern district once again noted the calmness and professionalism of the policeman, who did not hesitate and with a quick and accurate response neutralized the terrorist while he tries to stab the inspector with the knife. "The policemen train for exactly these scenarios, and this is exactly how every policeman is expected to behave when he detects a threat to citizens."

While scanning the area they spotted a terrorist running towards them. The inspector is seen in the video as he runs and the terrorist advances towards him. Meanwhile, the policeman pulls out his weapon and shoots the terrorist, before he can hit the inspector. Police Commissioner R.N. Yaakov Shabtai, Minister of National Security MK Itamar Ben Gvir and Southern District Commander Superintendent Amir Cohen heard the reconstruction of the attack and the neutralization of the terrorist from the policeman and the inspector.
