. A woman gave birth in a metro line 5 on Sunday morning in Paris, BFMTV revealed. Shortly before 11 a.m., at the Gare du Nord in the direction of Bobigny, emergency services were contacted to intervene with a pregnant woman in her thirties, about to give birth on the train.
The Paris Fire Brigade (BSPP) transported the woman and the newborn after the birth. This Monday, they indicate that the mother and child are doing well. Because of the event, line 5 was suspended from 10:50 a.m. to 11:50 a.m. between République and Jaurès stations, explains RATP.
