As Alfons Sonnbichler, the actor has played his way into the hearts of many fans. An end to the series veteran is unimaginable. The Sonnenbichlers are the heart of the ARD production - because while the Saalfelds at the Fürstenhof come and go over the years, Alfons and Hildegard are still at the start. After actress Antje Hagen (85) recently said goodbye to “Storm of Love”, her series husband is now following up. But the fans don't have to worry for the time being - because Sepp Schauer isn't even thinking about his TV pension at the moment.

“I'm doing very well here. I have a good standing with the audience and in the production. Why should I go?” he emphasizes to

. A lot still has to happen before he gives up his role - unless his health gets in the way. If he can no longer remember his lines, he no longer wants to be in front of the camera. “Then there is a substantial reason for it and I would be the first to stop,” he says.

The actor makes it clear in the interview that there is no reason for him to stop. “I would definitely have something to do without the storm, but I feel comfortable here,” he explains and even adds: “When I drive to the Bavaria site, it feels like my second home.”

But perhaps Sepp Schauer doesn't have to make the decision alone - it's quite possible that the series will be canceled by the broadcaster at some point. There are always rumors about an end. “Storm of Love” is struggling with financial problems.
