Including in France, where certain volunteer deputies were able to watch a film on the attacks committed by Hamas on October 7. It was November 14: for almost three quarters of an hour, they had watched this assembly of raw images, without comment, in the projection room of the Palais-Bourbon. The 120 deputies of the France Israel friendship group were invited to this event.
According to our information, MP Aymeric Caron, related to the LFI group, wishes to repeat the same type of operation, this time to broadcast images of the war in Gaza. The former journalist has been compiling images of “atrocities” for several months on his social networks or via his own sources in the Gaza Strip.
Three weeks ago, a team of Arabic-speaking volunteers, with whom he is in contact, began editing on their own, mainly by collecting images from social networks. “I would like the edit to last forty minutes, to be journalistically impeccable, dating and sourcing each image,” Aymeric Caron, who attended the broadcast of the film on the October 7 massacres, recently told us.

After viewing these images, the deputy who, unlike the leadership of LFI, did not hesitate to qualify the acts of Hamas as “terrorist”, launched into this initiative, so “that in the same way , images of the atrocities of the Israeli army are broadcast. He has not yet discussed it with his parliamentary group, but he spoke about it to the president of the France Palestine study group, of which he is a member, the MoDem deputy Richard Ramos, so that he could organize the broadcast.
Listening to him, the latter “temporizes”. Does he fear seeing this initiative as an operation of “victim competition”? “It’s information,” retorts Aymeric Caron, who promises, even in the absence of participation from the study group, to organize a dissemination by himself.
