This month two different fashion proposals arrive so that you can add knowledge and reflection. We tell you what it is about.

1- MODAPEDIA

This is the first journalistic podcast about fashion in Argentina, created by La Curva de la Moda, a medium founded and directed by journalist Lucía Levy.

The 1st of the 8 chapters is now available on Spotify

, which tells the story of eight garments that have revolutionized the Western world. The t-shirt, the leather jacket, the miniskirt, the pants, the suit, the cleats and sneakers, the sportswear (even the soccer jersey!) and the bikini.

Each episode includes a local update on the phenomenon in Argentina, as well as unpublished historical data. Among the invited figures are Natalia Oreiro, Mariana Fabbiani, Narda Lepes, Malena Pichot and Julia Mengolini, among others. Argentine designers such as Romina Cardillo from Nous Etudions, the duo Camila and Emiliano Milessi from Kostume, Gustavo Pucheta and the shoemaker Jessica Kessel, among many others, also participate.

Throughout the eight episodes, Levy demonstrates how clothing can challenge established norms around gender, sexuality, class and politics.

The original idea, research, script writing and voiceover are in charge of Levy and the general coordination is in charge of Lucila Lopardo, director of the content production company Quina.

The La Curva de la Moda team is completed by Ana Julia Pesaresi, strategy director; Marianela Fabi, director of finance and Ayelén Bosio, director of alliances. The podcast was recorded at Ariel and Federico Schujman's Estudio Red and Leo Pillows was the sound editor.

Modapedia was made thanks to the support of Alto Palermo. In the words of Lucía Levy:

"Alto Palermo gave me the freedom and confidence to say exactly what I wanted."

2.SEMINAR

This meeting will be held by Alejandra Boland (International Fashion Business Consultant) and Verónica Alfie (Apparel Designer), starting in April under the name: DNA of brands to sell to the world.

There will be 5 classes that will be taught digitally and will address different topics, including how to internationalize a brand.

The seminar is aimed at all those people who want to follow the path to developing a brand, commercial project for clothing, objects or fashion accessories in a modern way adapted to times where being agile, innovative and strategic is key. It is suitable for those who already have their business as well.
