A new swimming pool in Clayes-sous-Bois? More modern intercommunal nautical equipment will be the subject of an in-depth study this year. If the Salvador-Allende swimming pool, built in the 1970s, is already doing its job by welcoming 110,000 visitors and 30,000 schoolchildren each year, including those of Plaisir and Villepreux, the latter is reaching the end of its life as it has become “obsolete » and “no longer meets the needs of the population”, according to elected officials.
The file for another intercommunal swimming pool, on the negotiating table for some time at the town hall, has now received the green light. A decision that delights the mayors concerned.
