The mayor of Montreuil, Patrice Bessac (PCF), one of the biggest communist cities in France, will launch a popular initiative movement to prepare for the possible arrival of the far right in power. Through prospective work, conferences, exchanges between local elected officials from across the country, the elected official, also president of the Est Ensemble territory, wants to show concretely the consequences that a victory of the National Rally would have in the next presidential election, and thus avoid it.
