“Hold on!”: the spectacular rescue of a man clinging to a cliff in California

A spectacular rescue took place this Sunday March 31 in Golden Gate National Park, near San Francisco in the United States. After falling more than 15 meters, a man managed to hang on to the side of a cliff at the last minute. In images shared by local police, the man, motionless and barefoot, seems to be struggling ardently against gravity.

Alerted in the early evening, Sonoma County authorities dispatched a helicopter to rescue the victim, who was successfully transported to the top of the cliff. The man escaped with a few scratches and did not seek further medical attention.
