At first only one concert was announced in a Bavarian city, but now US rocker Alice Cooper will perform twice in the Free State.
Munich/Nuremberg – US rocker Alice Cooper has been terrifying his fans at concerts for decades – with mock beheadings, straitjackets and scary outfits. The rocker, known for his striking make-up and his spectacular shows, is going on a European tour in 2024 - and is playing several concerts in Germany.

In Bavaria, too, the cult rocker will transform the concert halls into horror chambers in two cities and perform his hits. Originally, concerts were announced in six German cities this summer - including Nuremberg.

But now Cooper will play six more concerts in the fall during his stop on the “Too Close for Comfort” tour in Germany, as the concert organizer Concertbüro Zahlmann announced. Fans in Munich can look forward to: In addition to the Franconian metropolis, a concert is also scheduled to take place in the Bavarian capital. Cooper will play a total of twelve concerts in Germany this year. Concerts in Hamburg, Northeim, Dresden, Butzbach and Breisach as well as Nuremberg had already been announced for June and July. The new concerts are planned for Stuttgart, Lingen, Oberhausen, Berlin and Leipzig as well as Munich in October.

Ticket prices vary between 80 and 100 euros
Depending on the provider in Nuremberg, the prices for the concerts range from around 85 euros for a standing room to over 100 euros for a standing room in the Golden Circle. In Munich, ticket prices also vary between around 85 euros and around 105 euros (as of March 29), depending on the location and provider.

2023 was a successful year for Alice Cooper: the rocker, who was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame with his band, traveled throughout North America with 67 concerts. He also released his current studio album “Road” – which is now his 29th. And: In February he celebrated his 75th birthday. At the concerts in Munich and Nuremberg, fans can look forward to a wide-ranging repertoire with his biggest hits like “Poison”, but Cooper will also have new material from “Road” with him.
In 2024, music enthusiasts in Bavaria can look forward to a variety of different concerts: The rock band AC/DC also recently announced, after a mysterious countdown, that they would be giving concerts in Nuremberg and Munich, among others. It starts in summer. And superstar Adele sets up her concert camp directly in Munich and gives a total of ten concerts in the state capital.
