In the midst of the events to commemorate the Malvinas War that are taking place this April 2, Governor
Axel Kicillof
crossed President
Javier Milei
and questioned him about the fact that on several occasions he expressed his admiration for
Margaret Thatcher
, the former Prime Minister of the Kingdom. United under the British government during the 1982 war.
"We are waiting for the person who is today the President of the Nation to tell the people that
they cannot honor and have as an idol Margaret Thatcher
, who treacherously
ordered the killing of Argentine soldiers
," he stated during his speech in the town of Pilar.
"Sovereignty is not just a speech on April 2, it is not just carrying national symbols or singing the anthem:
Sovereignty must be exercised and updated every day
. Of course remembering the Malvinas feat, paying tribute to the ex-combatants , veterans of the Malvinas, unwaveringly demanding bravely; and
paying the international costs that must be paid for our sovereignty of the Malvinas,
