Schongau - Drunk driving:
A 44-year-old from the Landsberg district was noticed on the B 17 on April 1st at 1:45 p.m. because he was driving in a serpentine line in his car. During the subsequent check, a strong smell of alcohol was detected. An alcohol test showed a value of over 1.1 per mille. A blood sample was then taken from the 44-year-old and his driver's license was confiscated. He is now facing an investigation for drunk driving.
Wessobrunn - Fight over a cat:
Two Ukrainian citizens got into such an argument on Sunday over a cat in their accommodation that they fought. A 32-year-old did not agree with the way his 18-year-old roommate handled a cat. The previous verbal argument was ultimately followed by flying fists and a hospital visit by the 32-year-old. He suffered a laceration to his face and required medical attention. Both were charged with assault. No violation of animal welfare by any of those involved could be determined.
