A helicopter crashed this morning on the north face of Petit Combin, in the Swiss Alps.
According to what was reported on the website of the Swiss newspaper 'Le Nouvelliste', it would be an aircraft used for heliskiing - the practice of off-piste skiing using a helicopter as a means of ascent - capable of transporting five people and the pilot.
Rescuers are working on site with huge resources, including seven helicopters. The Valais canton police have not yet provided further information to the Swiss media.
