On Tuesday, a video patrol from the Holzkirchen motorway police followed a motorcyclist from Gmund into the garage - and ultimately seized the two-wheeler.

Gmund

- A video patrol from the Holzkirchen motorway police's motorcycle control group noticed a Gmunder (16) riding a black supermoto in the Ostin area on Tuesday around 3 p.m. In the rearview mirror, the officer noticed that the motorcycle was missing its license plate. The patrol immediately turned around and followed the Gmunder's motorcycle. The police gave stop signals, but these were hidden from the motorcyclist: he had no rear-view mirrors. So the patrol followed the motorcycle, the journey only ended in the garage at home. The officers spoke to the teenager while he was still sitting on the motorcycle, helmet in hand. According to the motorway police report, despite the obvious, the Gmunder initially claimed that he wasn't driving at all - which had no effect.

No rearview mirror, manipulated exhaust

During the subsequent inspection of the two-wheeler, the police discovered significant defects in the vehicle. Not only were the motorcycle's rear-view mirrors missing, the exhaust was also tampered with and an illegal lamp mask was installed. The vehicle also turned out to be unregistered and uninsured. The officers also discovered that the young Gmunder did not have a driver's license. Given the large number of complaints, the motorcycle did not remain in the garage. After consulting with the responsible public prosecutor, the police quickly seized the supermoto. The motorcycle is presented to an expert.

Several advertisements at once

As the Holzkirchen motorway police also reported, the Gmunder is now facing charges for driving without a license and for violating the compulsory insurance law. The 16-year-old also has to answer for various administrative offenses.
