Some 20.53 million tourists visited Seine-et-Marne last year. This is 7% more than in 2022 and 12% more than before the health crisis in 2019, the best year in terms of tourist attendance since 2010. For the first time since Covid, Seine-et-Marne has regained his level of activity and even did better.
“The cultural sites of Seine-et-Marne welcomed nearly 2.5 million visitors in 2023, i.e., on average, + 20% for castles and + 10% for museums compared to 2022,” explains Olivier Morin, president of Seine-et-Marne Attractiveness (SMA), the economic and tourist agency of the departmental council.
