Al Maza district in Damascus, Syria, full of embassies, shook last night (Monday) from the scope of the explosion - in an attack attributed to Israel in which seven members of the Revolutionary Guards were killed. A former security official, who knows the Syrian area well, estimated that according to the extent of the damage to the building and the smoke - the explosion's echoes were probably also heard in the palace of Syrian President Bashar Assad.
After Syrian citizens and local networks published the extent of the damage caused to the Iranian embassy building in the Syrian capital - it was clear that whoever was responsible for the targeted countermeasures wanted to be effective on the safe side and added more explosives to cause the building to collapse. This, with the exception of the signs of the former commander of the Quds Force, Qassem Soleimani, who was killed by the Americans.
The most senior person killed in the attack is Mohammad Reza-Zahdi, commander of the Iranian Quds Force in Syria and Lebanon. Raza-Zahdi was one of the founders of the Hezbollah organization, a graduate of the Iraq-Iran war, responsible for connecting the axis of evil in the region and coordinating between the Ayatollah regime in Tehran, Lebanon and the Syrian regime. This, including the activation of the "Imam Hussein Division" - these are Iranian-operated Shia activists who are in Syria. Reza-Zahdi was also responsible for smuggling weapons and ammunition from Iran, through Iraq to Syria and from there to Lebanon, and in the distant past was a senior commander in the Revolutionary Guards.

By Reza-Zahdi's side there were at least five other Iranian figures and as of now their names have not yet been verified. But even without the names it can be stated that the elimination was multidimensional. It is intended to convey a resounding and powerful message to the Iranian regime, which destabilizes the Middle East - according to which there is a heavy price for the activation of Hezbollah, Palestinians in Lebanon, Hamas, Islamic Jihad, Shia militias in Syria and Iraq, Houthis in Yemen and more.
The goal of the elimination, which was attributed to Israel, was not to disrupt Iranian activity in the region, although this matter will also be achieved, since in order to drive processes in the region, you need central figures who know how to solder metal to plastic - and his elimination will leave a void to some extent. Still, the purpose of the countermeasures was to pose a dilemma to the Iranian regime that has been shaking up the region in recent months - also to the senior Iranians who are now moving in Syria and Lebanon, a dilemma is developing here.
And then additional messages and with them different prices that may lead to the burning of the suit of Bashar Assad who hosts terrorist organizations and supports with a wink of an eye the terrorist activity from his territory, and Hassan Nasrallah who manages the attrition system against the State of Israel from southern Lebanon and from Syria.

The same will be the story of Muhammad Raza-Zahdi. The question is how long it will take them to digest the magnitude of the blow and what will happen the day after.

The nerves of all the players in the region are now stretched beyond the level of vigilance that has existed for six months. Muhammad was a central screw in all the activities of the Iranians in the Middle East. This is more than a painful blow.
