A 22-year-old was hit by a falling tree and fatally injured during an Easter fire in Lower Saxony. The young woman died in hospital on Easter Monday, the police announced on Tuesday. Two other people suffered injuries, some of them serious, and were also taken to hospital. The approximately six meter high tree fell from the fire on Holy Saturday in Beckedorf onto the surrounding people.
Beckedorf - The cause of the accident was initially unclear, the police asked visitors to the Easter fire for information. Photos or videos should also be made available to the police. dpa
