The Great National Cause 2024 is still struggling to show results. At the end of 2023, the government had made physical and sporting activity a priority. The idea: take advantage of the Olympic and Paralympic Games “to encourage the French to adopt less sedentary lifestyles”. It is in this context that the “Move 30 minutes a day” operation was launched.
However, three months later, according to “the 30 minutes barometer”, produced by OpinionWay for the CIC, 47% of French people still say they do less than 30 minutes of physical activities per day. A figure down compared to the previous month (-3%) but still high.
