Established in Toulouse (Haute-Garonne) since 2022 for the free delivery of meals for students in difficulty, the Équipag association

Precarious students experience inflation in their food budget but also in the purchase of clothing. To help them, a free clothing store opens its doors on April 4 in Toulouse (Haute-Garonne), the fourth largest student city in France. Called Dressed, it is installed at the Musée des Abattoirs, at the initiative of the Équipage Solidaire association, which has already been providing free deliveries of meals and hygiene products in the Pink City since 2022 via its Delivr'aide application. Nearly 300 items are currently available in the store located in the Saint-Cyprien district. It is open every Thursday from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. and accessible to students who have registered on the site:

“We see that students are skipping meals for financial reasons, so it’s the same thing for buying clothes,” emphasizes Hugo Poterlot Roure of the Toulouse association Équipage Solidaire, which has around twenty active members. The association is well structured in Toulouse with the delivery of meals, so after Paris in 2023, we decided to create this solidarity shop in Toulouse. We collected clothes from companies sensitive to the cause, from Emmaüs, from individuals, clothes that we sorted and washed.”

The association also requested the endowment fund of the Toulouse Football Club (TFC) which donated more than a hundred items, as well as the club's partner, the Serge Blanco brand (nearly 60 items of clothing). Sponsor of the TFC foundation, Toulouse rapper Oli in turn donated around thirty items of clothing from his Visionnaire brand.
