Josef Teucher actually didn't have to say much about himself at the most recent meeting of the Irschenberg local council. After all, the new treasurer himself is Irschenberger.
Irschenberg - The father of four lives in the Pfaffing district, but was previously responsible for finances at the Bayrischzell town hall.

However, not everyone knew how he came to Bayrischzell after his apprenticeship at the Kreissparkasse. Contact with the community of Bayrischzell came about through jobs at the ski lift company at Sudelfeld. Where he started in the cash register, completed the treasurer training course and took over the treasurer's office in 2016. With the restructuring in the Irschenberg town hall, the position of treasurer became vacant (we reported), and Teucher applied - with success.
“It wasn’t easy for me,” said Teucher, “to change after 18 years. But you gain more time in your life by having a job close to home.”
Mayor Klaus Meixner (CSU) also publicly welcomed his new colleague: “It's a shame that you're here.” The town hall boss also praised the exchange with the community of Bayrischzell as part of the change - namely Mayor Georg Kittenrainer and managing director Josef Acher out.
