What is the
difference between
QLED and Neo QLED?
The main difference between QLED (Quantum Dot LED) and Neo QLED technologies lies in the type of backlight and the subtlety of light control they offer. Both technologies improve the viewing experience with more vivid colors and better contrast compared to traditional LED TVs, but they do this in different ways.
QLED TVs use a quantum dot layer embedded between the LED backlight and the LCD display. This layer improves color and brightness. QLED TVs offer excellent color accuracy, brightness and energy efficiency.
Neo QLED is an evolution of QLED technology introduced by Samsung. The key difference is that Neo QLED TVs use a mini-LED backlight, which is made up of thousands of tiny LEDs. These Mini LEDs are much smaller than the LEDs used in traditional QLED TVs, allowing for more precise control of brightness and contrast.
