The heady music from the rides has stopped since the end of 1991 in Mirapolis (Val-d'Oise). The old sleeping amusement park, the first of its kind to see the light of day in Île-de-France in 1987, before Parc Astérix (1989) and Disneyland Paris (1992), nevertheless seems to be on the verge of waking up. A development project already well advanced provides for the construction of tourist accommodation and coliving residences on this vast plot of land in Courdimanche called ZAC Sainte-Apolline.
A building permit was filed last December by the current owner of the plot. There are still a certain number of stages before the project really starts, but the elected officials of the region seem in any case convinced by the principle. “I'm not absolutely defending this project, but it's been going on for thirty years, we have to be able to do something with this site! », Declared this Tuesday evening the mayor (DVG) of Courdimanche, Sophie Matharan during the Cergy-Pontoise agglomeration council.
