This is a meeting of the Retirement Orientation Council (COR) which could be frankly hectic. This Thursday, its members are meeting for a new working session with a view to preparing the body's annual report - which sheds light on public policy choices in this area - whose publication is scheduled for mid-June.
The new president of the COR, Gilbert Cet, will formally inform participants (parliamentarians, senior civil servants, researchers, employers, unions, etc.) of a new methodology for calculating the long-term prospects of the French retirement system.
